Set against the backdrop of the Great Depression, a seventeen-year-old illegal Mexican immigrant, Diego, finds hope through master con artist Thomas Schell. Alongside Schell and his formidable partner, they exploit the wealthy elite by staging elaborate séances, preying on their grief.
