Mapping the world

This collection of inaugural lectures held at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of International University Bremen looks at human social and cultural devolpments from the perspective of different disciplines and provides new tools for locating individuals in their historical contexts. Topics discussed are perception and visualisation, collective values and behaviour as well as new media and globalisation.
