For his exhibition at Galerie Judin in 2016, Dieter Meier has revived the figures of his legendary photo series Personalities, created back in the early 1970s. With empathy and humor, he has imagined how those invented characters might look and live today. This artist’s book brings together the resulting photographs and short biographies – and also allows many an autobiographical conclusion to be drawn about the stunning career of multi-talented Meier.
