Ulla von Brandenburg. Eine Landschaft ohne Blau, wie ungefähr

Ausst. Kat. Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst, Bremen

Více o knize

Ulla von Brandenburg is considered one of the most interesting installation artists of her generation. With the help of largeformat fabrics, she transforms exhibition spaces into colorful, sensual spaces of experience that bring together impulses from theater, circus, dance, and design. Different materials and genres are combined into a loose story in the sense of a crossdisciplinary Gesamtkunstwerk: objects, films, watercolors, and performances with diverse references to literature and art history, ritual actions and anthropology. The artist herself describes her artistic approach as "spatial mises-en-scène." The catalog follows her approach with numerous illustrations, texts accompanying the exhibition, and a conversation with the artist.00Exhibition: Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst, Bremen, Germany (11.12.2021 ? 10.04.2022).
