Radio legend Jim French, renowned for his exceptional radio dramas and creator of Imagination Theatre, launched The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in March 1998. This series embraced the classic old-time radio tradition while faithfully depicting the Canonical Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. Over the years, French crafted an impressive 50 original episodes, now compiled into three companion volumes. In 2017, MX Publishing released a collection featuring scripts from Imagination Theatre, contributed by French and other writers of the 130-plus Holmes episodes. All author royalties were dedicated to preserving Undershaw, a former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sadly, French passed away in early 2018, shortly after the book's release, but his legacy endures. In tribute to Jim French and his contributions to Sherlockian lore, we present The Further Adventures of Sherlock: The Complete Jim French Imagination Theatre Scripts, a three-volume set of all fifty scripts. For those who enjoyed these broadcasts, they are now available in text form, showcasing some of the finest Holmesian storytelling. Each script features the beloved characters as described by Watson: “the best and wisest . . . whom I have ever known.” All royalties from this collection will support the preservation of Undershaw.
