The evolution of the "costumes of light", the elaborate costume worn by the bullfighters of Spain, is told in this luminous memoire. The greatest stars of the Corrida - the Spanish bullfighting arena - are brought together, resplendent in their elaborately embroidered costumes, in a series of stunning portraits. The matadors dressed in gold and the banderilleros wearing silver re-enact the dramatic movements and intricate choreography of their profession, thus displaying the most artistic and appealing aspects of the bullfight: the costume and the gesture.
