Covering Section 3 of the Irish Junior Certificate syllabus, this book examines social and political changes in the 20th century. International relations in the 20th century are examined as is Irish political development in the late 19th and 20th centuries. There is also a section on social change in the 20th century, where the USA has been chosen as a contrasting society to Ireland and a thematic approach has been adopted.
