"Road to Success" is a comprehensive elementary Chinese textbook that follows "Beginning Level" in the progressive series. The book consists of two volumes, each containing three units, with four lessons per unit, covering various topics. The topics are familiar and interesting to learners during their studies in China, such as daily life, campus life, transportation and travel, and cultural entertainment. Upon completing both volumes, learners will master over 600 Chinese vocabulary words and further enhance their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Each volume includes listening texts and worksheets, with exercises for each lesson that can serve as homework. The worksheets also contain six sets of unit review questions to help learners focus on their revision. An MP3 recording is included, featuring texts, vocabulary, and some listening exercises.
