Slater Fund; With the Proceedings of the 17th Annual Conference for the Study of the Negro Problems, Held at Atlanta University, on Monday, May 27th This study is an attempt to get at the facts underlying such widespread thot as this by making a study of the trained Negro laborer, his education, opportunity, wages and work. The first attempt at this was made in 1902 and the results appeared in no. 7 of the Atlanta University Publications. The present study seeks to go over virtually the same ground after an interval Of ten years. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in our edition. We do, however, repair the vast majority of imperfections successfully; any imperfections that remain are intentionally left to preserve the state of such historical works.
