The purpose of this little book is to provide travellers to Italy with a selection of words and phrases and with some practical information and advice which may make their journey more pleasant. A few essential notes on Italian grammar have been added, as well as currency and conversion tables. The information it gives is necessarily limited, but it is hoped that it will enable the traveller to overcome many of the difficulties frequently met with on a journey, as well as to book rooms, order meals, make travelling arrangements and go shopping.
