Founded by President Ho Chi Minh in 1930, the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) has led the Vietnamese revolution to consecutive victories in the course of national development. Every National Representative Congress of the Party (or Party Congress for short) is always a landmark or an event of prime importance to the Party itself and to the Vietnamese nation because it charts the guideline and strategy for the revolution and national development in conformity with each historical period.
