The Decibel Penguin Anthology, Volume 1
New Voices From a Diverse Culture

Více o knize
Volume 1 is a celebration of the unique and diverse voices that can be heard the length and breadth of Britain in the twenty-first century. Showcasing the many different voices that are often ignored by the mainstream, decibel and Penguin bring readers the best of new writing - the talents to look out for in the years ahead. These ten stories take us around the world and address the clashes between generations, the problems of not fitting in or fitting in too well, of escape and confinement, and of first and last love. Above all, these are stories of modern Britishness. No reader serious in asking who we are in contemporary Britain can afford to turn down Volume.
