Alaska's Kodiak Island. The island kingdom of the brown bears. A wilderness cabin. A fresh start. Jason and Brenda Everblue, college sweethearts grappling with a troubled marriage, move off the grid with their two young children. No cars, no groceries, no internet, no services. Jason believes that through isolation he can insulate his family from the world's corruption.
