World Heritage in Czechia

Více o knize

The sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List located in the Czech Republic are generally well known. This book, prepared by the National Heritage Institute, presents their Outstanding Universal Value, both in the exact wording of the relevant definitions and through numerous photographs that illustrate the richness of these locations. The publication also contains basic information on how the World Heritage List is compiled and the main obligations of the states that have ratified the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Readers will also learn which main authorities, institutions, and other entities in the Czech Republic are involved in the protection, preservation, and presentation of World Heritage.
