Anne of Avenue A

Více o knize

Eight years ago, Anne Elliot broke Freddie Wentworth’s heart by prioritizing her five-year plan over love. Now thirty, Anne is still living at home with few prospects, trying to stay optimistic despite her regrets. Her life takes an unexpected turn when her father’s financial mismanagement leads to her childhood apartment being rented out to Freddie, the man she can’t seem to forget. Freddie never anticipated seeing Anne again after she ended their relationship for a job overseas. He believed he had moved on, but when a work opportunity brings him back to New York, he discovers Anne is now his neighbor in his new Greenwich Village penthouse. Nearly a decade later, both are determined to leave their past behind. However, a series of events—including a disastrous off-Broadway show, a chaotic Thanksgiving dinner, and meddling neighbors—draw them closer together. As old feelings resurface, Anne and Freddie must confront their unresolved emotions and decide whether to take a chance on love again or walk away for good.
