Alan Alexander Milne (často také psán jako A. A. Milne) (18. ledna 1882 Londýn – 31. ledna 1956 Hartfield, Sussex) byl anglický spisovatel a dramatik, proslulý především příběhy pro děti. Světovou proslulost získal zejména cyklem knih o Medvídkovi Pú (v angličtině Winnie-the-Pooh). Jeho tvorba je však daleko rozsáhlejší a je určená rovněž dospělým.

Medvídek Pú to není rozhodně jen tak obyčejný medvěd. Vždyť se na něj podívejte : malý sympatický popleta, který si získal oblibu už v roce 1928, kdy poprvé vyšel ve své zemi, v Anglii. Zanedlouho se v překladech dostal mezi děti v mnoha zemích světa, aby všem vyprávěl o svých dobrodružstvích. Ilustroval Jaromír Zápal.
