Focusing on domestic violence and sexual abuse among male same-sex partners, this book examines the specific experiences of gay men, particularly refugees and migrants in Germany. It highlights the prevalence of dating violence and sexual abuse within the gay community, drawing on non-probability samples to illustrate victim experiences. Additionally, it addresses the difficulties in recognizing sexual abuse victimization and discusses the implications for practice, policy, and future research in the European Union context.
