A noble villa on Lake Como, inhabited by elite artists and scholars from around the world. A Rockefeller fellowship allows them a few weeks in this refined setting, where they can forge valuable connections and work quietly on their projects. The well-being of the guests is tended to by locals from the village of Bellagio, who can only enter the villa to clean or serve. Into this world of conventions arrives a new guest—a young writer from Serbia who doesn't even own a tie. He feels much closer to the staff and villagers than to his fellow fellows. Yet, he attempts to adapt to the sophisticated society without compromising himself. He tests the invisible boundaries of the villa and becomes a keen observer of its quirks and resentments. With the help of ornithology, a melody from the past, and a notebook full of drawings, he ultimately sparks a small revolution. "Como. 30 Days." is the diary of a wanderer between worlds, capturing the unspoken and hidden with fine humor and disarming authenticity.
