The BRNO GUIDE originates from our personal experience in a city we had not heard of before - Brno, Czech Republic. The routine Brno Graphic Design Biennial and the city's life were a refreshing breath of inspiration. We were not the only ones touched by Brno; since 1998, there has always been a delegation of Estonian graphic design represented at the Brno Biennial, and each of them has their own relationship with the city. Our goal was to create a travel guide that reflects the participation of Estonian graphic design at the Brno Biennial over the last 20 years and encourages people to discover and experience the city differently than a typical travel guide found in any random newsstand.
