Zkoumá západní filozofickou tradici z feministické perspektivy a inovativně reinterpretuje myšlenky Hannah Arendtové, jako je jedinečnost, akce a vyprávění. Jejím cílem je zdůraznit jedinečnou existenci lidské bytosti, která je spjata s tělem a pohlavím. Cavareroová odmítá jak abstraktní filozofické subjekty, tak postmoderní fragmentaci, a místo toho propaguje živou jedinečnost jednotlivce utvářeného skrze vztahy s ostatními lidmi.
