Der mittelamerikanische Kulturraum erstreckt sich über ein großes, in sich sehr unterschiedliches Gebiet: Er umfasst die Staaten von Zentral- und Südmexiko, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador und teilweise Honduras, Costa Rica und Nicaragua.
