Nadia vždy směřovala k dráze ilustrátorky. Již jako dítě čmárala do svých cvičebnic, později si čmárala poznámky ke studiu práv. Během novinářské kariéry v Londýně pro hudební magazín Smash Hits čmárala neustále na všechno možné. Její tehdejší zaměstnavatelé ji za to nevyhodili, ale naopak ji dokonce propustili dříve, aby mohla navštěvovat večerní kurzy ilustrace. Následně získala magisterský titul na prestižní univerzitě Anglia Ruskin University. Práce kreslířky a spisovatelky je pro Nadii splněným snem.
