Focusing on the construction and evolution of grammar syllabuses in mainstream English Language Teaching, the author employs a mixed-methods approach to analyze the contents of coursebook syllabuses. The investigation assesses the validity of these syllabuses as a foundation for effective teaching, providing insights into their development and practical application in the classroom.
