Simon Drew's sense of humor is an acquired taste; it may be a moot point whether it is worth acquiring, yet thousands of fans around the world have clearly already succumbed to its questionable attractions. The result of this juxtaposition of quirky humour and semi-serious drawings is sometimes hilarious, sometimes provocative and sometimes just warped. This is his third book: the two previous ones are A Book of Bestial Nonsen

This collection centers around ducks. Simon Drew's pictorial menagerie is enlivened by the insistent and incessant quacking of demented ducks and drakes on the duckpond. A quack in time saves nothing.
