Born in 1901 in Elberfeld in Germany, Sulamith Wulfing has lived in Wuppertal, in the industrial Ruhr, for most of her life, and it was here that she began to paint--from life--at the age of four. She has painted ever since. (from backcover)
Relationships, especially love relationships, are among the most fulfilling as well as challenging aspects of human existence.
