Franz Arnold Graffer (1785-1852) war osterreichischer Bibliograph und Schriftsteller. Er schrieb uberwiegend Wiener Lokalerinnerungen. Dieses Buch widmet sich Denkwurdigkeiten aus der Lebens- und Regierungs-Periode des Kaisers Franz II. (I.).

Die Buchreihe TREDITION CLASSICS widmet sich der Wiederveröffentlichung von klassischen Literaturwerken aus zwei Jahrtausenden, die oft vergriffen sind. Ziel ist es, 100.000 Klassiker aus verschiedenen Sprachen in den Buchhandel zu bringen und damit eine breite Leserschaft zu erreichen. Techniken werden erklärt und es wird auch reflektiert, ob sich das Schlittschuhlaufen auch für die Damen eignet (ja, eignet sich). Für jeden Schlittschuhfreund ein Buch, das man immer auf dem Nachttisch haben sollte. Denn wenn man gerade nicht aufs Eis kann, lassen sich damit zumindest im Kopf ein paar schöne Figuren aufs Eis zaubern. Allen ambitionierten Eislauf-Sportlern kann dieses Buch eine Vorstellung davon vermitteln, daß es auf dem Eis nicht immer nur um verkrampfte Höchstleistungen geht, sondern zunächst einmal darum, glücklich vor sich hin zu schweben.

Die „Österreichische National-Enzyklopädie“ wurde als eigenständiges Nachschlagewerk völlig neu konzipiert. Besonders für die biographische Forschung ist sie eine unentbehrliche Quelle.
