Když se sejde virtuózní předloha s neméně virtuózním překladem, vznikne mimořádné dílo. A právě takový je Zrzavý Orm Franse G. Bengtssona. Tento skvělý švédský vypravěč uchopil severské ságy a s nenapodobitelným humorem a nápaditostí nechává vikinského náčelníka Orma a jeho přátele putovat do Anglie, Irska, Normandie, na Pyrenejský poloostrov a samozřejmě i doma na Severu. Frans G. Bengtsson vystudoval filosofii, byl velice sečtělý a zanechal vpravdě pozoruhodné dílo. Zrzavý Orm je ovšem jeho jediným románem a nechce se uvěřit, že baví čtenáře po celém světě už téměř osmdesát let.
