Vanessa Bell byla ústřední postavou literárního a uměleckého kruhu Bloomsbury, umělkyně, jejíž dílo se vyznačuje silnými barvami a odvážným redukcionismem. Její rané umělecké vzdělání a formální umělecký výcvik položily základ pro její celoživotní zkoumání umění.
