Vzdělaná, citlivá a oduševnělá Anna byla zasnoubena s námořním kapitánem Frederickem Wentworthem. Její rodina však tento vztah označila za společensky nepřijatelný a Anna se musela své lásky vzdát. Po letech se s bývalým snoubencem znovu setkává a zjistí, že čas její city k němu nijak nezměnil.
Milostný příběh mladé dívky z lázeňského města, kde je poprvé uvedena do společnosti. Hlavním cílem jejího pobytu je snaha nalézt pro ni vhodnou partii. 17letá hrdinka je bezprostřední a upřímná a do konvenční společnosti těžko zapadá. Nejvíc je popletená románovými horrory, tehdejší oblíbenou četbou, z čehož se odvíjí řada komických epizod. S nadšením přijímá pozvání své přítelkyně k návštěvě tajemstvím opředeného starého panství. How to represent love, shame, solitude and sexual yearning?Drawing from the self or life model, from reproduction or the imagination, has provided artists with the freedom to explore desires, fears and fantasies. The Nakeds takes as its starting point selected drawings of the single figure by Egon Schiele.
