Robert Marsh, vyrůstal v Omaze v Nebrasce, ale toužil žít jinde. Předstíral, že v Omaze nežije, tím, že hodně četl. Každý týden si Robert z knihovny půjčoval dvacet knih. Jelikož neměl čas přečíst všechny ty knihy, přečetl první kapitolu každé z nich — a zbytek příběhu si vymyslel. Nyní Robert vymýšlí příběhy pro obživu a už nebydlí v Omaze. Sny se plní.
