    Shane se dvacet let věnuje evangelizaci a katechezi v arcidiecézi sv. Ludvíka. Působil v koordinačních týmech katolických charismatických skupin pro mládež i v programech LifeTeen, stejně jako v koordinaci programů pro Obřad křesťanské iniciace dospělých a pro další formaci. Byl dlouholetým členem arcidiecézního týmu pro duchovní obnovu, evangelizaci a modlitbu (REAP) a přispívá do Catholic Exchange, Catholic Lane a YOUCATholic.com. Shane je také držitelem magisterského titulu v oboru logopedie a věnuje se klinické praxi. "Nejlepší prací" je pro něj však být otcem dvou dětí.
