The Activity Book allows the students to become more involved in the learning experience. It features simple exercises, board games, crafts, songs to sing, rhymes to learn, puzzles to solve and recipes to cook ... all in German and all based on the lively stories of Anna and her friends.

This delightful video course, for beginning German, follows the adventures of Anna, an eighteen-year old music student, her eleven-year old brother, her elderly neighbor Herr Schmidt, and his insatiable puppy, Oskar. Beginning language students, even at the secondary level, enjoy the videos. As an entertaining family experience for second generation German speakers, it is an ideal program for the home school environment as it is motivating as well as pedagogically sound. The language is current, the characters endearing. All materials are in German only. The entire program consists of 26 fifteen-minute video segments divided into two levels. Components include story/picture books, workbooks, audio and video cassettes, and suggested lesson plans.
