    Toute l'histoire: Triumph
    The Mighty Mercedes
    V8
    Ford's Competition Cars
    • A thorough survey of all the cars--production and racing, mostly British and European, though a few American--that used V8 engines, from 1903 through 1979.

      V8
    • One might almost say that the Daimler-Benz company invented motor cars, as its founder members, Gottlieb Dai8mler and Karl Benz, independently produced internal combustion engined vehicles as early as 1886. It was in 1901 that Count Jellinek, the Austro-Hungarian Consul-General at Nice took a concession for the sale of Daimler cars and persuaded the company to name their new model after his ten-year-old daughter, Mercedes. This book is an attempt to capture the spirit of Mercedes, from the early cars, through the mighty K, S and SS models to today’s smooth status symbols, Michael Frostick’s light touch illuminates most of the 450 photographs and line drawings.
