Každý, kdo má povědomí o Dietrichu Bonhoefferovi (1906–1945) a jeho svědectví, bude od této knihy právem očekávat přístup odvážný a provokativní, ale též hluboce autentický a krytý autorovým životním postojem. Tříbení časů nedovolilo tomuto významnému teologovi psát v akademickémzávětří či z pozice moralisty, který se nešpiní se světem.
