Maddox is frustrated as a serial killer continues to elude him, having claimed another victim. Hiro's insistence on talking to ghosts could provide crucial insights into the case, but Maddox struggles to accept the supernatural. Despite his reservations, he finds himself drawn to Hiro's determination and charm. However, when Hiro's investigation puts him in danger, Maddox realizes he must act quickly to protect him. Filled with action, mystery, humor, and romance, the story weaves their journey together, culminating in a resolution to the mystery and a satisfying conclusion for the couple, with more adventures on the horizon.
