    M. Rickert je autorkou, která píše také pod jménem Mary Rickert. Věnuje se psaní s touhou splynout se svými příběhy a často o sobě píše ve třetí osobě. Po letech neúspěchů začala publikovat pod tajemným pseudonymem, ale později pocítila potřebu vrátit se ke svému pravému jménu. Tento krok jí umožnil znovuobjevit a vyjádřit vlastní hlas ve své tvorbě.
