Probíhající obrození fašismu v mnoha zemích západního světa je jednou z nejvíce znepokojujících skutečností sklonku dvacátého století. Stejně znepokojující je snaha různých fašistických ideologů a politických skupin zapojit ekologii do služeb společenské reakce.
