Sylvain Tesson se tentokrát vydal s fotografem Vincentem Munierem na náhorní plošiny Tibetu po stopách téměř mytické šelmy: sněžného levharta. Dojmy z výpravy za extrémně plachým, samotářským zvířetem v knize vztahuje ke zkušenostem se ztrátou milovaných žen, jejichž přízrak ve vzácné šelmě spatřuje, a prokládá úvahami o vztazích mezi přírodou a člověkem.

Six mois et 5 000 kilomètres plus tard, Alexandre Poussin et Sylvain Tesson entraient au Tadjikistan, après avoir accompli la traversée intégrale de l'Himalaya, à pied, d'est en ouest.
