Malcolm Hulke byl britský autor science fiction, který se proslavil především prací na populárním seriálu Pán času. Jeho díla pro seriál často zkoumala morální dilemata s postavami bez jasného rozdělení na dobro a zlo, často s levicovým politickým podtextem. Hulke je autorem osmi příběhů pro Pán času a je známý také tím, že vytvořil rasu Silurianů, která se v seriálu objevuje dodnes. Kromě psaní pro televizi se věnoval i novelizacím televizních scénářů.
