While searching through any bookstore, in any city, in any country throughout the world, there is sure to be a shelf or two devoted to the art of Zen. The very idea that Zen could be broken into words on a page, explaining the exact method on how to obtain true enlightenment is almost absurd, and quite contradictory to the very nature of the practice itself. To be without being, to know without knowing, to understand without understanding are unusual concepts to put into thought, much less into idea and then onto paper. So this is what I offer to you…Once you pick this book up, and then put it down, regardless of the time in-between, I hope that the contents awaken a thought inside of you…That one thought that you may have known was always there, dormant , but burning… that you understand why the ultimate treasure of the quest is not written in a book, or heard in a lecture, or taught by a teacher, but rather inside you, and beyond you, within you, and everywhere and anywhere in between. Stop searching. Stop asking. Stop questioning. Be where you are and know that now is the end, and the beginning, and be satisfied.

Mentre guarda fuori dalla finestra della sua classe, Nadia è elettrizzata. Diciassette anni,folta e indomabile chioma rossa e una voglia tremenda di essere altrove: ancora pochisecondi e arriverà il trillo della campanella. Il cielo azzurro si spalanca sopra di lei el’aria profuma d’estate. Che le vacanze abbiano inizio! Ma quando, come ogni anno, si trasferisce nella casa al mare di suo cugino Marco, ancora non sa che l’aspetta una sorpresa. Due coinquilini speciali arrivano nella notte con una chitarra e due valigie: sono Benjamin Mascolo e Federico Rossi, conosciuti da tutti come Benji e Fede.Fede ha occhi azzurrissimi e un sorriso mozzafiato, Nadia non riesce proprio a smettere di fissarlo mentre canticchia con la sua voce calda.
