Proč by nemohl pes pomoci najít rukojmí a zachránit je spolu se svým psovodem? Během túr a procházek si autor nosil zápisník a zapisoval nápady na příběh. A samozřejmě autorovou inspirací a spolupracovníkem je LT., který se účastnil všech autogramiád a také podepisuje knihy.
