Linus Rapp's monograph examines the design work at HfG, stemming from the exhibition enthusiasm of the 1950s, and its theoretical reflections. The book interprets exhibitions as public outcomes of design processes, serving as a basis for critically analyzing fundamental questions regarding systems and methods of staging and representation. It emphasizes the public reactions elicited by these exhibitions. Rapp holds a doctorate from Folkwang University of the Arts, Essen, and has been a volunteer at the Bavarian State Painting Collections since January 2021.
