Ano, i já zažil arogantní úředníky placené státem, kteří kontrolovali, zda jsem hoden státní podpory… Ano, i já jsem po krádeži kola zažil to, že policisté dlouze sepisovali hlášení, ale samotné vyšetřování či dopadení pachatele bylo naprosto podružné… Ano, i já trávím při vyplňování nejrůznějších formulářů čím dál více času… Ano, i já neustále slýchávám o vyšetřovacích komisích, které nikdy nic nevyšetřily… David Graeber vůbec nepředstírá, že by se nad byrokracií dalo nějak zvítězit. Nicméně je dobré svého celoživotního nepřítele aspoň dobře poznat. A k tomu skvěle poslouží právě Utopie pravidel.
