Monografie je poctou Marilyn u příležitosti 50. výročí její smrti. Je plodem pečlivého výzkumu editorů Stefanie Ricci a Sergia Risaliti i Museo Salvatore Ferragamo. Představují se v ní fotografie, oděvy, obuv a některé osobní věci této filmové hvězdy spolu s důležitými dokumenty odhalujícími její složitou osobnost.
