Melvin Jules Bukiet Životopis

Melvin Jules Bukiet je literárním kritikem a autorem sedmi románů (Sandman's Dust, After, While the Messiah Tarries, Signs and Wonders, Strange Fire, and A Faker's Dozen). Je editorem tří antologií (Neurotica: Jewish Writers on Sex, Nothing Makes You Free, and Scribblers on the Roof) Jeho práce byly přeloženy do půl tuctu jazyků a často antologizovány. Příběhy publikoval v Antaeus, The Paris Review, a dalších časopisech, eseje publikoval v The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, a dalších novinách. Žije v New Yorku a učí psaní na Sarah Lawrence College. V češtině vyšel jeho román Potom (After, 1996)
