An extensively revised and completely reset edition of one of the most successful African language dictionaries ever published. Originally compiled by Dr. T. J. Kriel, a highly respected educationist and authority on the language, this book has been a steady seller since first published in 1971. The main aims of the revision were to make the dictionary even more user-friendly and to bring it thoroughly up to date. Almost 3,000 new words have been added, and spelling in both languages has been brought in line with contemporary usage. No knowledge of grammatical rules is presupposed and the user can look up all words directly.
