Po čase stráveném na Blízkém východě, v Severní Africe a Střední Americe se pustil do psaní, protože jeho vizuální nápady nebylo možné realizovat v rámci rozpočtu. V roce 2007 se tak začala rozvíjet jeho série, která čtenářům nabízí poutavý útěk do jiných světů.
