Memories are made at picnics. The distractions are left behind and the essence of who we're with, where are and what we're eating becomes all the more pungent. Fresh air increases our appetite- beckoning the senses that were once so highly tuned to our natural environment. This is something that lies in the cell-memory of our imaginations. Nature's uncanny ability to allow us to slip into the ebb and flow, reducing our need for control and uptight decorum. Having to expose ourselves, loosen the reigns, as we do when eating unencumbered with all the accoutrements of civilisation. A no rules event that allows for a little more "running-with-the-wolves".
