Jde o rebelii proti všudypřítomnému masovému tržnímu prodeji potravin plných škodlivin, které změnily Ameriku na hnisající národ s rychlým občerstvením, s obřími výkrmnami hnusných blivajzů napumpovaných dioxiny, naložených v konzervantech a překypujících fruktózou... Jídlo je základní požehnání. Mělo by být bráno jako dar, který si denně poskytujeme a sdílíme ho s ostatními tak často, jak je to jen možné. Autobiografická próza Paradoxia zpracovává na poli literatury stejná a podobná témata, kterými se Lydie Lunch již v minulosti zabývala na poli hudebním (v rozsahu od blues, jazzu až po heavy-metalovou psychedelii noise-beat) i filmovém (v undergroundových a také v porno-"drogových" filmech RichardaKerna). Kniha je sadeovským průvodcem po světě vyšší i té nejspodnější společnosti, jež jsou ve své podstatě stejně nízké, zvrácené a posedlé krví a sexem. Průvodcem však není nevinná a teprve zasvěcovaná, "iniciovaná", Justina, ale žena, která se rozhodla v tomto panoptiku, v této muži ovládané společnosti chovat jako muž - bezohledně, arogantně, tvrdohlavě, sobecky a krutě. A právě tyto mužské atributy a schopnost vracet rány, nepodléhat iluzím a přesvědčení, že v tomto světě není nevinných, jí umožnily přežít. A nejen to.
