Pod dvojznačným pseudonymem Cchan Süe (zbytky sněhu; sníh, který ne a ne roztát) se skrývá spisovatelka, jejíž dílo se může směle řadit ke špičce čínské avantgardní literatury dvacátého století. Její fantastické, anti-realistické či surrealistické povídky se noří hluboko pod povrch lidských životů a mezilidských vztahů, jsou fascinujícím, chvílemi hororovým, jindy až groteskním představením, které se neodehrává za zrcadlem, ale spíše v jeho odrazu.
